Migration generates new learning

Dear Friends

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Days are flying like anything, we are now in the 10th month of this year. We are blessed with God’s unfailing presence for the past months of this Jubilee year.

The pandemic never pulled us down to enjoy God’s ever-living presence with us.

Porthahar and I are on our Sabbaticals. Sabbatical is not resting days but reflecting and learning days about Christ’s enriching presence. We started our journey on 20th September and wonderfully God has guided us to share our spiritual experiences with Clergies and Clergy wives in our home diocese in CSI Tirunelveli Diocese and to attend the CSI Platinum Jubilee Celebration in Chennai. Now we are in South East Asia to visit some countries and meet the migrants and understand their faith stories and also share our faith by His grace.

I understand how people are eager to receive the word of God and mindful of their life journey in the midst of their unfamiliar life situations during Migration. Migration is not an exceptional journey as our Lord Jesus embraced while he was a child (Matthew 2:20) and many missionaries and ministers too were accepted to displace themselves to share the Good news with others in the world.

Migration generates new learning and paves the way for transformation within people’s lives. But there is no doubt Migration is a life journey with uncertainties but faith in Christ makes difference to have everlasting Hope in people’s lives too.

I was reminded to share the following verse from Paul to Philippines (4:6) as a Promise for this month:

“Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Please enjoy the worship with LTCC on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th  Sundays of this month.

Though I am not in person to worship with you all, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

As I have mentioned in my previous letter, the 2nd and 3rd Sunday services will be led by Diluxion Jeyakumaran and the preachers will be Charles Rajkumar and Gladstone Worthington respectively.

This month’s 4th  Sunday will be ‘Bible Sunday’ which would be led by Revd. Singa Vunipola.

Have a blessed month.

God bless

In His ministry
