'Choose to be attentive to have Easter Joy'

Dear Friends,

Greetings to you all in the name of the Risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

First of all, thank you to those who have been journeying with LTCC’s Lenten Study and prayers during Lent.

I thank God that by His grace we have benefited by learning about and reflecting on “the life from Psalms and Jesus’ parables” during our Lent journey. This wonderful experience refreshes us till today with continuous meaningful reflections. We learnt a lot from the story of Jesus too. His life in the wilderness, His teaching and healing ministry among followers and disciples undoubtedly reveal to us a deeper meaning to His death and resurrection.

The slogan ‘Yes, He is Risen’ needs to stay with us in our life as a rhythm to carry, proclaim and ponder His incomparable love to all of us and to all the people in the world. The bottom line of “Easter Joy” is not only pronounced orally but means we live out the Gospel, as it is a living word that gives inseparable and everlasting life to those who trust Jesus’ death and resurrection!

Easter Joy needs to be remembered in our everyday life situation now and always. Being attentive to His ever-living presence with us will eradicate the doubts and unbelief in our own inner turmoil and make us firm in our trust and hope in our Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ who is our Saviour and permanent companion. Our attentiveness to Jesus’ life story of 33 and half years as a Son of Mary and Joseph increases the real unbelievable joy and remarkable inner strength that He brings us.  When we are lost His story enables us to see His extraordinary divine wisdom and guidance. May Easter Joy in our lives glorify God’s name within us and through us every day.

I conclude with my prayer:

Almighty God who resurrected Jesus on the 3rd day, open our eyes to see your resurrected power, open our ears to hear your ever-living Word and open our hearts to love and serve you firmly with gratitude for your Son and our Saviour Jesus Christ’s sacrificial love. Amen

I wish you all to have a blessed Easter and that you may have peaceful Easter blessings always!

In His Service
