Light a candle and pray for the healing of the nation from the pandemic

God our refuge and strength, an ever-living present help in trouble, you are our healer and redeemer. We need your generous hands to touch and heal us. During your ministry on earth, you gave healing to those in need in body, mind and spirit. You touched the blind for them to have sight, the dumb to hear and speak and the leper and the sick of any kind to get their healing.

We bring before you all who need your healing touch at this moment due to this COVID -19 and other viruses. May your healing power be known to the suffering world through doctors, nurses, and carers. We plead with you to take away all the fear & anxieties of those who are isolated, in quarantine, or lonely. May your love increase them the Hope and a sense of purpose in their lives! May you protect the people with chronic health conditions! May you touch the needy, remove their darkness and brighten their life situation with your unfailing light and love. We ask these things through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
